People's Association Youth Movement - National Youth Council Grant Schemes

The PAYM and the National Youth Council (NYC) have jointly introduced two new grants. The PAYM-NYC Community ChangeMakers (CCM) Grant and the PAYM-NYC Youth Leadership Community Programme (YLCP), to encourage more youth-initiated projects/ programmes that will benefit the community.


PAYM-NYC Community ChangeMakers Grant

The PAYM-NYC CCM Grant is open to all YECs, PAYM Service-Learning Clubs, Residents' Committee (RC)/ Neighbourhood Committee (NC) Youth Chapters and T-Net Club Management Committees which will embark on community projects in their local constituencies. Seed funding of up to 80% of the project cost of $3,000, whichever is lower, will be given to each successful application. Grant-making decisions will be made by a panel of experienced youth leaders from the YECs.


PAYM-NYC Youth Leadership Communit Programme

The PAYM-NYC YLCP is a programme funding scheme under the Youth Expedition Project that aims to develop youths through the YECs and RC/NC Youth Chapters, between the ages of 15 and 35 years. Participants will embark on both local and overseas community service-learning projects, with the emphasis on contributing back to the local community at the respective constituencies.
