A 30-week modular programme framework is in place for all Service Learning Club members to ensure a structured and progressive learning experience. The programme consists of two components, namely Training & Development and Community Engagement through Projects & Activities, and aims to develop skills and to strengthen the characters of the members through involvement in courses and hands-on sessions.
More intensive leadership training programmes is offered to exco members of Service Learning Club, who will have the chance to undergo more specialised training offered by National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) and/or the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS). These student leaders can also be nominated to participate in PAYM’s exchange programmes. To apply what they have learnt, these student leaders will lead and conduct basic training to their peers.
