Since its inception in 1971, the People’s Association Youth Movement (PAYM), together with its 101 youth groups based at the Community Centres/Clubs (CC) have been actively involving youths between the ages of 12 and 35 years in healthy and meaningful community service projects and initiatives. The PAYM plays an essential role engaging volunteers and youths in nation-building by bringing youths of different races and cultures together.
By encouraging her members to inculcate the spirit of care and compassion through fervent involvement to help the less privileged ones, PAYM youth groups have expanded this community service outreach in not only local boundaries but also overseas community service projects.
